Quillon publishes personalized choose-your-own-adventure books for adults. You become the named protagonist: the story asks a handful of questions before you begin, weaves your answers into the prose, and lets you steer the plot through the choices you make. Two readers can finish the same title having read genuinely different books.
How our stories are made
Quillon stories are a collaboration between AI and human hands, and we'd rather say so plainly than have you wonder. Most of our books are drafted with AI storytelling tools, then shaped, tested, and edited by a person before they go live — every branch read, every ending earned. Each book's byline tells you which kind it is: "Created and Curated by" for AI-drafted, human-edited stories, and "Written by" for the traditionally authored ones.
What we never do is generate while you read. Every story enters the library as a finished, branching manuscript, and the personalization is deterministic: the same answers and the same choices always produce exactly the same book, word for word, whether you read it on screen or hold it as a keepsake.
Three endings. Fifty million ways to reach them.
That sounds like marketing. It's arithmetic. Take our title The Night Ratio: over the course of the book you make 25 decisions — 24 of them with two options, and one pivotal three-way choice near the end.
Choices multiply. After your first two-way decision there are 2 possible versions of your night. After the second, each of those splits again — 4 versions. Then 8, then 16, like a coin flipped over and over. Double a number 24 times and it isn't 48 — it's 16,777,216. The three-way choice triples that, landing on 50,331,648 distinct routes through one story, each one a different sequence of scenes, all funneling into just 3 endings. Change even a single decision and you've read a book nobody with your exact path has read.
And no — we didn't write fifty million pages. The book is woven from 89 hand-edited scenes that branch apart and flow back together, so any single read is a normal novel's worth of pages while the routes through it run into eight digits. That's the craft: every scene is written and edited once, carefully, and the choices do the multiplying.
